I was in Ulsan for a business trip and this is the place I am always recommended to stay by my Korean contacts. The hotel is in the middle of the city (which is not too big) and there are a lot of little places to eat within a two to five minutes of the hotel. The staff is always courteous and helpful; in fact, they will tell the cab drivers where you want to go and any difficulties for them getting there.

It was a wonderful experience to stay at Hidden Hill Bulkuksa Hotel. Jojiu was the most gracious host I’ve ever come across. She really took care of us. We wanted to do our laundry and she insisted on doing it for us. She saw I wasn’t feeling well and did a really effective massage that made me feel a lot better. That’s only one part of the experience. We were a half block away from the Bulkuksa temple and across the Bulkuksa Market. I couldn’t recommend this place enough

Overall everything was perfect for me to enjoy Gyeongju trip. The host was kind, personable and quick to respond to our request. We loved the Korean traditional structure of the house and all the details the host put much attention and thoughts. Our room was Munmu which is a Korean traditional style room with futon on the floor. Since it was chilly we turned the heater on to make the floor warm and the warm floor felt so nice. The room, bathroom were spotless clean and a kind of private balcony...
