"Still a nice place with pleasant staff. The hotel is under going renovations, which is great as they were needed, but that should be mentioned in both the website and Expedia at the time of booking. Some guest may find this uncomfortable"

"I enjoyed the bathtub with bath salt after my mt. Kinabalu climb. Very clean and comfortable stay for me. "

"The hotel location is fantastic. We had a sea facing room and had a wonderful view of the ocean and mountains in the background, as well as fishing boats. The gym is also well equipped - multiple stationary bikes, treadmills, exercise machines. The only down side is that there is a strong odor of cigarettes in there all the time. May be due to bad air circulation in that room. There is also a nice outdoor pool. The breakfast buffet was very good, with lots of local and western choices. Hotel...

"No hot water. Also, they advertise free shuttle to the airport. When I came down before 7:00 a.m to catch the shuttle, they tried charging me. They would not help me to get a shuttle, and in fact, they put another group in the shuttle before me when I had been waiting. I found the place kind of dirty. It needs some new carpeting and some clean looking towels. This may be one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at."
