โVery good location, short walk along the road to the national park. Big spacious clean room, with daily cleaning, beautiful location with lovely views. Only issue was things in the room got slightly damp in the morning but really worth it for the cheap price! โ
โOur state was very nice. No problems. Just to be aware that this is not the touristy part of town. With no offense meant, we were the only white couple. We saw the whole time in this area. Everyone was smiling and friendly. No problem whatsoever with the locals they were very welcoming!โ
โThis is a very nice place in a remote location with nothing much to do but relax. If you like that, go here. Nice breakfast buffet. The restaurant is good and pretty, but the only place you can get a drink within a few miles. Get a duty free bottle before you come. The landscaping and pool and beach at the hotel are very beautiful and well maintained, but beyond the hotel the beach is full of plastic garbage. โVery basic but excellent location v near NP entrance, and kind hosts. Wifi was pretty good when switched on. Restaurant opposite park entrance offered breakfast from 6.30. My room was rather tired with barely functioning plumbing, but perfectly adequate considering the location benefit.โ
โThe Resort is set in a stunning location with wonderful views of Mount Kinabalu from the affiliated Restaurant. A stay in one of their 2 longhouses is a must and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The only downside to our stay was that we didn't get to try their famous homemade scones as they are too popular! โ
