The Plaza is a well maintained hotel that's inexpensive and accommodationing. For the price, it stands head and shoulders above any of the similar priced locations.
Bed was rock hard. Sheets made us feel itchy and did not smell fresh.
Carpets were musty and dirty.
Bathrooms did not feel clean. Towels smelled musty.
Staff was very helpful though, and attentive to our needs.
The best part of the place was the price and it was within walking distance of the beach and good eating places. But the great price didn’t match the description we read. We had reservations for 9 nights. The first night, it took them over 2-1/2 hours to bring 2 extra pillows and a blanket (this was after 2 calls). The second night the shower head failed and needed to be replaced. Thank goodness the repairman came within 1/2 hour, assessed the problem and replaced the part right away. I wonder what would have happened if they didn’t have an extra part. The room’s phone doesn’t phone doesn’t even work so I’ve had to use my own phone each time I needed something. The floors always looked sticky and should have been mopped. Housekeeping was great—they made the bed (which was hard as stone) and replaced towels everyday, but sometimes the towels looked stained. Downstairs in the lobby and reception area was nice and looked clean and well maintained. I wish the rooms were the same.
Very spartan rooms. I like hard mattresses but the room mattress here is VERY firm. The room did have a water kettle, good working aircon and a small refrigerator. Nothing fancy. Very much a budget hotel that was priced accordingly. I checked in late and there is an ABC Store on the lobby floor - but it closes at a strange time - 10:30 pm - so beware of that. There is a restaurant in the hotel and there are a FEW options within a 5 minute walk. One is "Ichiban Ramen" and it is open until midnight and is very good. There was still a waiting line at 10 pm so be prepared for a bit of a wait - but well worth it.
Great for a solo work trip. Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful with any questions. There is also a place to do laundry for $5 for 1 load. There is also a night market on Sundays which has lots of food options and to buy local items.
Checking was a breeze, very nice and informative. All the staff was great. Breakfast buffet was great

Disliked: Staff & service
The staff were very unprofessional. Customer service was poor-mannerism, politeness, welcoming, and professional attire were lacking.
Parking was convenient.
Room is clean, but no in-house slippers. Floor is sticky.
Air conditioning was good.
Wi-fi was superior!
Study desk was great! Was able to do work in the room.
AC was not working when we arrived. They tried to send some in to fix it but it did not work. We slept in a hot room for a few days and they didn’t transfer rooms for us. Front desk was not helpful
In trying to at least get a fan or new room and never followed up during our entire stay. Do not recommend staying here. Pool was also not available during our stay. Bathrooms are poorly designed and the bathroom floors are wet after showering. Parking was a nightmare and hard to find any place to park if you’re coming in late. Only upside for the hotel is it was centrally located near Tumon beach. The rest of our experience was not a good one and staff was not helpful.
There was a bug on the pillow and the room walls were paper thin we could hear our neighbors conversations perfectly and everytime someone closed their door to leave it echoed throughout the walls and parking it was hard to find parking somewhere the parking garage was full and same with the outside parking . The manager had an attitude but the employee was nice and we got a refund, don’t stay here
After the storm on Guam, this hotel was able to accommodate our family when we needed it most. My children were comfortable with the working AC and running water, which was a huge relief given the circumstances.
This isn’t a 5‑star hotel, but for the price we paid and the way the staff went above and beyond to be accommodating and attentive to our requests, the experience outweighed the minor drawbacks. Yes, the twin beds were small and the bathroom was older, but overall, it was absolutely worth our stay.
Rooms are terribly gross. I didn't even want to sit down anywhere or place my bag down onto any surface, especially the bed. The beds were literally from a scene of a gross motel in a movie. The blankets had holes and had multiple large stains, I am gagging thinking of it. Why wouldn't they replace those already?! The room had a terrible odor. There was a desk with an old broken rolling chair that also had stains and literal crumbs all over it. I had a joining room for my kids which was exactly the same.
Although I had a late flight and it was already 1am with no where else to go, I went straight to front desk and checked out. I told them why, and they basically had no solutions, which I expected. Couldn't give a refund because I booked thru a third party. Told them I'd rather sleep in the car than sleep there. My kids and I cringe at the thought of the room.

Rented this room due to no power from typhoon Bavi. Affordable price for it being in Tumon. Location great, walking distance from convinence stores, restaurants and night life. Staff were kind, helpful and accommodating when we requested a crib.
Unfortunately the first night after we checked in, we already experienced roaches. The tables were a bit dusty and the sheets felt a little sticky when we were laying down. Not much amenities offered for the room. We were there for two nights just to get some AC and charge our devices. Room looks outdated compared to the “grand” lobby when entering. Over all Ok stay.
POOR POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Since 3pm on July 04, 2026 check in time, I informed Front Desk the AC was not cold. Throughout the day, 4 DIFFERENT EMPLOYEES ON 4 SEPARATE OCCASIONS/TIMES all came up to the room and confirmed AC was not cold. The whole day to the next day, still nothing was done. I asked for a manager and only to be told the manager is off and to come back later “IF” the manager will be on site. Maintenance guy came to check the AC in house clothes and slippers, no uniform, no badge, no name tag or anything that says/shows he is a hotel worker (just looks like a person knocking on the wrong door looking for someone), just adjusts the temp when it’s already at its coldest (supposedly) then turns on and off then calls someone else and still nothing can be done. I didn’t finish my stay, I informed Front Desk I will be checking out at the standard 12noon time and I booked somewhere else. Never again will I ever book at Grand Plaza.

The staff and workers were great and very helpful. The air conditioning system was very good and the tv was working. My only complaint is that it wasn’t clean(birth room and shower)the bedding was trash. The room needs to be aired as it was so stuffy and damp. Parking was also great
