Our stay at the Hotel Grande was great. Whilst it's just a basic motel, it was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Special thanks for storing our ice bricks in their personal freezer for us overnight! Would stay again.

This place is an awesome little find! Loads of parking, immaculate rooms, showers have incredible pressure and there’s even a little common area with a gas BBQ. The owner Sam is a super friendly guy who is lovely to chat to. We will definitely stay again. Bargain!

Clean and Modern

Nice motel - rooms modern and clean with great bed and air conditioning. A bit too far away from CBD but shopping centre not too far away! Crockery and cutlery are available from reception :) A pleasant overnight stay.

Decent room, clean and in good condition. Not the most comfortable bed. Biggest issue was the road noise from early morning (3am onwards). My room was roadside and it was just too loud to sleep through.

Hotel Grande is nicely located on the old main road, about a 3-5 minute drive to Tamworth CBD, depending on the star rating of your Uber driver. Shout out to Warren. Legend. Upon pulling into the hotel area, you're met with a quaint little 11 units/rooms so not overly busy, if at all. During checking in, hotel staff were very polite and helpful and did whatever they could to accommodate you. I read reviews on this place before booking and after what seemed like nothing but good things being said, I booked this room for $130 a night, (which based off reviews seemed to good to be true) and expected $130 standards (not in a good way). Walking into the room, I was stoked. The room was clean, spacious, beds were comfortable and the shower was probably the best water pressure I'd ever had in a room. Although the shower was a little small, it felt homely so that was a nice touch. The air con worked first go straight away, no 10 minute delay and the roller shutters were a good addition and easily operated. TV was new and gave options for all channels and digital movie services to log into your account. Housekeeping fixed everything and replaced all things that were used and it was done well. 5/5 there. I'll just say this. I've stayed in a lot of places in Tamworth and I'd say this was the best place besides The Powerhouse. But if im looking for great value, great amenities and service, this is it. I'd honestly stay here over The Powerhouse and will book every time I go back. A

Motel Grande is my favourite place to stay in Tamworth. We have been choosing to stay here for close to ten years. The rooms are always spotless and comfortable. The staff are friendly and always helpful. This was the first time we stayed in the apartment. You enter through a small, well-stocked kitchenette. There is a living area with a comfortable couch, as well as a single bed, and television. This is where the a/c is located. The main bedroom comes off the living area and features what I believe is a queensized bed, small wardrobe and has a ceiling fan as well as light. There is a well sized bathroom, with toilet' good sized shower and vanity unit with large wall mirror. Kichenette has a microwave, electric kettle, dishes and glasses, and dishwashing supplies under the sink.
