“Kambi Mstuni is a great resort with friendly staff and beautiful gardens. The restaurant serves great food too. Will highly recommended it if you’re traveling to the Laikipia/Aberdares area. Will only ask the management to do regular maintenance to the murram road that connects it with the main road on the Makutano side since it’s a little rough to drive there when it has rained due to many potholes on it. Otherwise not a bad place to rewind despite the distance from the main road. ”

“The staff are amazingly helpful, polite and friendly. They made us feel incredibly welcome despite our very late arrival. The waterhole, good and service are great and this has been our experience in Kenya so far. Love the overnight buzzer system which alerts you based on number of buzzes as to which animals have arrived at the waterhole The Ark needs new windows and the shower takes a while to warm up. It is cozy though with the big log fire and the thoughtful provision of hot water bottles...

“It’s impossible to find fault with our stay at Mutara Camp. Our party of three had a car accident on the way, and Dido and Lilomo drove out at night to Rumuruti to pick two of us up - an hour each way on bad roads. The chef had stayed up to cook us a hot meal when we arrived after 11pm, which was very welcome. That level of service was maintained throughout our stay and Dido even helped our son navigate his way through the bureaucracy of the crash. All without knowing any of us beforehand. The...

“Lovely cottage with 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets and huge living room with the fireplace. It is set on amazing location with great views of Kimakia river and tea plantation. Stuff was very polite and helpful, they are available 24h a day. There is also power generator in case of power failure. The road to the property is a bit tricky, especially last kilometer or two. Our overall experiance was great, highly recommended!”
