Just what I was looking for, a quiet, cool place to escape the heat and do some hiking. If you’ve never done it, Williams Lake is my favorite hike in New Mexico. Prior to July 4 (and maybe after) the restaurants at the ski area are only open Th-Sun. So if you don’t bring food, you have to drive back to Taos.”
