“Loved everything about the property. Loved all the walks from the property. The walk to the waterfall was amazing. We are vegetarian and we had a number of choices to choose from. The room was outstanding. Breakfast was outstanding. Every last thing was a 10 out of 10. We had no clue what we were getting into when we came. Everything blew us away. “The location was good, nestled in the moor in a small village, complete with shop, river and old bridge: very Devon! We wish that we could say that the pub food in our Inn was good; it wasn't. Overpriced, bland and in the case of the vegetables, undercooked even beyond a fashionable crunch. 'Raw' comes to mind. The pub public areas were shut at 9pm and the staff went home. We actually felt rather abandoned! In all, not a good experience”
