I cannot recommend staying at this hotel due to the way my concerns were handled.
When I arrived, the room was warm, so I left one of my valuable personal cards in the room's card holder to keep the air conditioning running while I was out. After the first day, the card was missing. I reported it immediately, and the staff assured me they would investigate.
Over the following days, I repeatedly asked for updates but received only vague responses. At checkout, I requested an explanation again. The head housekeeper, hotel manager, and owner became involved. Instead of addressing my concerns, they questioned whether I had left the card in the holder, insisted no staff member would have taken it because it had no value to them, and suggested I simply order a replacement. No one accepted responsibility or explained what had happened.
The discussion delayed my departure for the airport, yet there was no apology, compensation, or gesture of goodwill. I acknowledge it was my mistake to leave the card in the room, and replacing it is possible, though inconvenient. However, the lack of transparency, accountability, and genuine concern was deeply disappointing and left me questioning the professionalism and honesty of the hotel's staff.
