“Excellent location and staff”

“This is a very nice, new and modern hotel. The breakfast every morning is very good and contains a lot of options and variety of food. We arrived early in the morning on our check-in day, and the staff was incredibly friendly and got our room together as soon as possible for check-in a bit before the standard time. Nice view from the sea-facing side of the hotel and only about a 20 minute walk to Heraklion center with a lot of restaurants, shopping, souvenirs, etc. Overall, this was a great...

“It was ok, we have stayed at the other two hotels, Stella Island and Stella Palace, and to be honest this is not on par with them. The food was very limited, not much choice and if you’re a fussy eater you might struggle. All the flowerbeds were overgrown and if you had a sunbed next to one there was a strong smell of cat urine. The drinks weren’t great, the soda had that off taste or dirty pipes and isnt branded. There were also cockroaches in our room that came from the toilet floor drain....
