“Lovely staff and cozy ambience. Our room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was all homemade and delicious! Enjoyed the fireplaces and musicians in the pub at night. Beautiful setting with the front porches, and lots of places to unwind. ”

“We arrived after 7 pm and it turned out had reserved the room for Wednesday night instead of Monday night. A person associated with the restaurant which was closed on Monday, helped us. He called in to the staff and checked us into a room. Everything went so smoothly and it could have been last minute looking for a different motel. ”

“wonderfully restored old mansion. Rooms were charming... nicely designed. In fact the entire facility has been thoughtfully brought into today's design standards. Very accomodating staff... although many appeared to be a training mode. Need to improve the professionalism a bit. They have a new general manager (had only been there about 2 weeks when we visited)... seems he has a number of things on his agenda that will improve the property even more. Food was good... but not wonderful. ...
