โWhat a lovely gem of a boutique inn! Conveniently located to shops, restaurants, the VMFA and one of the prettiest neighborhoods in Richmond. This place exudes southern hospitality and charm. Amazing wine and cheese, amazing breakfast, and just amazing all around. We will be back!โ
โAnthony at the front desk was especially helpful with getting a ride to the concert we were attending. We loved his friendliness and made sure to say goodbye before leaving. Awesome staff!โ
โI couldn't determine whether this facility was just particularly renovated or only part of a rundown motel was being used. The clerk was courteous and the room was clean. BUT my non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoking and the bed cover was full of cigarette burn holes.The a/c unit was very noisy and it took all night to cool the room. I barely slept because of the noise and cigarette smell. The little microwave light was stuck on. I never used it but the light wouldn't turn off with the...
โIt didnโt smell like garbage. It totally didnโt feel gross just standing in the bathroom. I most certainly did not almost gag when I first walked in. I didnโt get drunk in the parking lot with my friends either. I did bring a sleeping bag. โ
โGreat place to stay. Pete is a great host, easy check in great communication, pinball machines and games in the rooms really great. Quick drive to some good dining.โ
โThe property was conveniently located near plenty of dining options and the staff were very friendly and professional. They also have a really cool rooftop bar/restaurant. The only con was that the pool is permanently closed. โ
โOnly think I donโt like was had to park in Parking Garage and pay extra for parking. They offer valet but would have had to pay a whole lot more to park. I feel for price paid that The Berkeley Hotel should give a voucher to customers to pay for parking garage fees โ
