Fantastic restaurant, staff, and lovely rooms. This hotel is right off highway waaaay outside of Delft, not walkable at all unless you want to go to the hardware store next door. You are essentially stranded so lovely hotel, rooms, and food but not great location.

Food was excellent, breakfast was brilliant, extensive choices and all fresh. The rooms are very modern and kept clean. I stayed in a corner room with a queen sized bed complete with walkin shower and large bath. All at a high standard of finish.

Pleasantly modern

Very pleased to see this modern rebranding of this very Dutch tourist class hotel brand. Rooms are spacious, modern and well designed, while retaining the essentials. Minus points for still having the tiny soaps and shampoos and for the miscommunication around late check out which was already agreed with. Hotel is conveniently located near freeways without the noise. Breakfast is disproportionately expensive.

Refused breakfast as it was fully booked.

I am a traveler for years but I have never seen this before. I booked 2x rooms for my family but during check-in the receptionist told me "we cannot offer you breakfast on Easter Sunday as it is fully booked, you can book for Monday...". I asked if I could take breakfast and bring it to my room in order to eat with my family and he said this is not possible! He recommended me to go to Delft and search for something open.. He also admitted "I know, it's horrible...". How hypocritical. You could easily see his face that he was enjoying it. The rooms were on different floors. I was lucky that he managed to change it into the same floor. Other than that, hotel facilities were really nice as most Van Der Valks, but it's the first hotel in my life that I had to book breakfast in advance. Refusing breakfast on a public holiday where most things are closed? That's unacceptable.

Faultless stay at the Van der Valk Hotel Delft A4. The room was spotless and comfortable, I loved the rainfall shower. Check in & out was efficient and the staff were courteous and friendly. This was my second stay at the VdV and I wouldn’t hesitate in staying there again. Getting to Delft Station and Den Haag Centraal is easy using the local bus 37 and the sprinter trains.
Very clean and comfortable bed…
