โWe recently stayed in the family block over the weekend and had a really lovely stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet โ perfect for a restful night. Parking was easy, and the breakfast was nicely cooked and delicious. The staff were absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay again!โ
โWe had a wonderful stay at The View. The room was lovely, very spacious and overlooked the rolling hills, plus it was quiet. The staff were very friendly and attentive and breakfast was delicious and all cooked and prepared to order. We had one evening meal at the pub itself which again, we couldnโt fault. There is so much to do around the area and we will definitely be going back. A true gem of a find!โ
โRoom was a lovely size.
Couldnโt fault the staff, they were very efficient , polite, friendly & helpful.
Breakfasts were lovely and the meal we had in the pub, was very good, generous portions too. โ
โvery helpful staff, great selection of beers. food good and plenty of it. beautiful place to stay. i try to always stay here now when I am working in the area.โ
โThe trip we had was great, the hotel had beautiful grounds and magnificent rooms. What an idyllic location to sit with your loved one and I could not complement the food or the restaurant any more. Staff were helpful and could not do enough to help. Would absolutely visit again.โ
โRoom was fantastic, spacious, clean, quiet (apart from a fire alarm but that probably doesn't happen very often) and customer service was exceptional. There was some work being done in the corridor but that did not impact our stay. We were meeting family and exploring the area and found it was close to the major roads. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of lovely food choices in the pub attached. I would recommend this hotel. โ
โRE-8 NIGHTS STAY...Very quiet...Staff are fantastic..rooms are clean and presentable..The staff make this place...they are fantastic and cannot do enough for you to enjoy your stay..great work too the team..thank you..โ
โFantastic old property that has been sympathetically restored / converted with fantastic rooms. Brilliant breakfast and typical Peak District hospitalityโฆ..
Easy walk into the village too, where thereโs shops and a couple of very good pubs too.
We stayed three nights and could easily have stayed longerโฆ.
Hell Yeah!โ
โLovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. Lovely bedroom decoration, nicely fitted out bathroom with a decent sized bath and rainfall...
โOne night stay was good for what we needed just very dusty , cobwebs everywhere , dust in the air vent in the bathroom , cracks and screws hanging out.
Would stay again as the room is adequate just needs abit of a clean. โ
