"The hotel was nice and the room was big. I was able to check in early. The only issue I had was there was no parking at night. Several areas were blocked by cones so it was hard to find parking. And, there were loud noises from motorcycles late at night."

"Everything was great with the exception of the pool. It didn’t appear very clean. I really wanted to get a room with a pool, which I did, but once I saw the pool, I was quite upset. The beds and pillows were comfy, the hotel parking was great, the food was just ok. Nothing special."

"We selected this hotel for our girls trip due to the downtown location. However, after arriving and exploring, this section of downtown has less to do and see, in my opinion, than where some of the other downtown hotels are located. The hotel was clean and the staff was great. We requested maintenance because the water in the sink and bathtub were going down slowly, and they took care of it promptly. Of note, we went during the summer when it was extremely hot out, but the pool water was always cold. One day, I went for breakfast at 9:23 am on a day it ended at 9:30 am, and the case where pastries, bagels, and bread go was empty. I'm used to hotels keeping things stocked until breakfast ends. Even though there were only a few minutes left, things like bagels and toast or muffins are the easy things you can grab and go when you go just before closing. Not only was it empty, but a staff member was putting items away. I would suggest that they wait until actual closing time. Otherwise, no issues."

"If I could give Brook Trout Inn ten stars I would. Julie, her husband Steve, and their right hand woman, Holly, were welcolming, friendly and helpful. The facilities were spotless, the breakfast eggs were cooked to order with almost everything else you could ask for to start the day. Run, don't walk to this Inn the next time you are in the area and need somewhere to stay. Who needs a chain hotel when you can stay with what feels like family❤️? Also, we brought our 17'9" boat and parking was no problem on the property."
