"First let me start with the good and then I will give my overall.
The 2 bedroom was absolutely beautiful, and plenty of room for a group or family. Now... not until we arrived to checkin were we told the balcony was not safe and not allowed to be used. That absolutely was not expected for a mountain trip, not to be able to sit outside and enjoy it. Also, amenities.. NO ONE tells you that they are located off site! You have to drive down the road to enjoy the pool, mineral spring hot tub, or any other amenities. Having booked this location for far more space than needed because of the amenities and not being able to enjoy them was frustrating. We hiked approximately 10 miles and had hoped to enjoy the hot tub, but who feels like driving there and back after that kind of day.
Make sure what you are looking for when booking, call and ask questions if any of this is something important to you or the deciding factor for staying here.
To find all this out at time of checking in was beyond infuriating."
"The hotel is in need of some renovations, but overall it offers decent value for the price, especially compared to other options in town.
Sunday breakfast is buffet-style. There are no specialty coffee options available on-site, so you’ll need to visit a nearby coffee shop if that’s important to you. During our stay, the omelet station was not operational, and there weren’t many healthy breakfast choices. For guests who aren’t particularly focused on diet or nutrition, the breakfast will likely be perfectly adequate.
The gym is quite small, and the pool area receives direct sun throughout the day with no shade, umbrellas, or covered seating available.
The bathrooms could use updating, and while the beds were acceptable, they weren’t especially memorable. On the positive side, the rooms feature large TVs, and the bath amenities are Pharmacopia products.
Overall, not a bad stay. The property has some shortcomings, but the price point helps offset many of them."
"Everything was great till my children looked out the window and saw homeless people at the pool butt naked.. we called and told the front office, all for them to go outside and throw away our small charcoal grill, and all the grilling utensils we had with it, it was all cleaned up and put away In the corner completely out of the way. They went out there and trashed all of it. We called the office to ask if they had done anything with it for them to scream at us and an say no grilling was allowed and that they threw all of our stuff in the dumpster, remind you we had done this for the past 4 days we were there, nothing was ever said, they then put a sign on the front office desk stating no grilling AFTER this incident happened, had this sign been up beforehand when we checked in, we would NOT have grilled or anything against the rules. So my husband went out to the dumpster to check if it was just sitting outside near the dumpster and sure enough there it was but he was followed but a man who cussed him out and told him he was trespassing in the dumpster and that he was NOT allowed to get our grill back, RIDICULOUS. Very unprofessional. We then waited till the next morning to speak with the manager, short little foreigner/indian guy who was also very unprofessional and unpleasant and chose to not replace the grill or even pay us back for the stuff of OURS that they threw away. Absolutely disgusting management here and they are NOT AT ALL for their customers."
"It was a peaceful location, I felt like I had all the comforts of home. The beds were very comfortable better than any high end hotel I’ve been to. I actually felt like I could live there it was great! The breakfast was delicious also"
