The "welcoming" committee. As soon as these Ostriches saw the safari vehicle they came straight for us. We were advised to keep our hands and personal items we wanted to keep away from the side of the vehicle. Since it was windowless they would reach in and take whatever caught their interest.
The Wilds is a 9000+ acre nature and conservation center. You can take a safari bus down among the animals. Cool place, worth seeing. My only negative is that there aren't nearly enough animals for the size of the place. The foal was no more than a week or two old at the time. #OnTheRoad
