โWeโve stayed here twice. Good, clean, well run place to stay. Walkable to restaurants downtown. Would be nice if they made their breakfast more eco-friendly with less single use plastics (plastic utensils wrapped in plastic and even bagels wrapped in plastic) and styrofoam plates :(โ
โAlthough I did have a little trouble signing into the Wi-Fi, the proprietor was extremely helpful and friendly.
The room was very clean, and there was a rain shower head in the bathroom.โ
โWalmart across the street. Red lobster and Olive garden across the street and one block. Good breakfast, comfortable beds, and a working refrigerator and microwave with a sink in the kitchen area. Will stay there again.โ
โAlthough not a new hotel, it was generally in good condition. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The shower was perhaps the main area for improvement.
We did not have any food or drinks at the hotel.
We did catch an Uber to Downtown and back on a Thursday evening and both trips were less than $10.
We last visited three years ago and would happily stay again if we were in the area.โ
โThis hotel is very clean and well kept up. There are no closets in the rooms, just hangers on the wall. However, the charges for the rooms are very reasonable for the value you receive. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. The internet worked very well, but it is a college town, so I expected that. I've stayed at lots of Best Western Hotels, but this is the only one that did not provide a breakfast buffet included. I would have appreciated that. Great service otherwise!โ
โLove the hotel and preservation of this historic site. We stayed next to some "haunted" rooms but there really wasn't anything out of the ordinary that happened during our stay. This was easily the loudest hotel I have ever stayed at as the bars and street were both very active. Parking was anxiety inducing as I could either find a spot close or walk 2 or 3 blocks and pay if the lot was full. The bed was not terribly comfortable but was fine. I would probably stay here again as walking around...
