“Facilities and location are fantastic, a real gem of a place. The studio apartment we stayed in was huge, so much room and had everything we could ever need. Leisure centre and on site restaurant were great too. Only negatives were being sent too much information before check in, it felt a little overwhelming for someone who'd never been. A lot of this could've been explained upon arrival instead. Overall would absolutely recommend, and we'll be looking to book again.”

“This would have been a 5 star review had I not bought the breakfast. The staff were all courteous and professional. The rooms were clean and adequately sized for my 2 night stay. View rooms face the water, but also a busy road so some may find the noise unpleasant with the windows open. I opted for a standard room and it faced a quiet area. The breakfast was a typical assortment of hot dishes and cereals, and tasted fine. I must say, though, the coffee was possibly the worst I’ve ever had, and...

“This property is being refurbished and during the day there is constant noise of drilling and banging. The walls of my room were vibrating from the drilling which seemed to be directly above. I received no advance warning of this work and it is not detailed in Expedia’s information about the place. The work starts promptly at 8.30 in the morning although Iheard builders moving around and talking at around 6.50am, which is unacceptable. In addition, there was no hot water on my second morning....

“Good location. Friendly & welcoming staff. Great views of the bay from our room which was lovely & spacious. Stairs only to access rooms so beware if you have heavy or large luggage. À la carte breakfast was good quality. Convenient with the onsite bar & restaurant. We stayed during the week so no problems with noise. Car park is in a back lot & very small. ”

“Perfect bolthole. It feels like stepping into a nicer universe. We stayed in a yurt again, and admittedly, the ensuite is rustic and chilly as you would expect but the main yurt was cosy and luxe even when the weather was cold. Staying on a Thursday night meant food was available and live entertainment!”
