"We liked the property. It was close to the ocean and hearing the ocean rise and fall was wonderful for sleeping and meditation. I did not like being placed on the 20th floor of the hotel. I'm aversive to heights. The room was fine and we had a partial view of the ocean. But we also had a good view of the favela bored into the mountainside behind the hotel. The favelas are unfortunate living areas of the poor and dispossessed, and this bothered me somewhat. The food was great. The restaurants...

Great location right across the street from Copacabana Beach and very short walk also to Ipanema Beach. There is a Bike Itaú dock right next to the hotel, easy access for those who want to rent bikes that way. Good continental breakfast. Pool area is small but why would you really use it when the beach is right there anyway."

Walk across the street to cococabana beach and short walk to Impena beach. The views from the pool were amazing.
