"Traveling through to Ludington to catch the morning ferry. The price is right for Viking Arms. We were on motorcycles so we like the old motor lodge setup, so one can park the bike right outside the door. Everything worked; heat/cool, hot water etc. My only complaint was the bathroom smelled sour because of the shower curtain and several of the towels had permanent stains on them, although they seemed “clean” in the laundered sense. Still, when you stay somewhere you want clean towels without stains. I’d probably give them another shot if I ever get that way again simply because it’s so convenient to the ferry and for motorcyclists. But if I have the same experience with the room I would then look elsewhere."

"If you're reading this to find complaints, you won't find many here. This is a well-maintained hotel in a great location right on Lake Michigan. I will definitely return again. Easy check-in as usual for Hampton Inns, breakfast had several items to choose from and the seating area is spacious. Didn't use the pool or hot tub, next time! One piece of advice for anyone traveling to the casino - the shuttle from the Casino to local hotels only runs Friday and Saturday evenings. Check with the casino for clarification because the hotel's front desk staff told us it ran 7 days a week on the hour, and we waited for quite a while until we called the casino and learned it does not. No big deal, but knowing this ahead of time would have been helpful. You won't regret your stay here, it's a gem!"

"The room was newly remodeled, cute & clean. Very quiet on this end of town which is nice we live in a rural area. The only suggestion is a list of local attractions, or activities board as we didn’t receive a text until after we checked out giving information on who to contact in case if questions or concerns come up, etc. Otherwise the stay was short & sweet, but we packed in a lot in the time we were staying. Would recommend for couples. Thank You!"

"My only complaint was the individual in the next room fell asleep with the TV on Which woke me up around 1 am. This has nothing to do with the hotel. Perhaps if the remote isnt activated after 2 hours it would would automatically turn the TV off"

"This is not a new property, if that's what you're looking for — but if you're looking for anything else, this is it! No bugs of any kind — yes, I checked for bed bugs. The rooms are huge! We had 3 beds and a couch, a refrigerator, and a microwave. The front desk could not have been nicer. I'll be coming back — the location was also perfect for us."
