OK for one night stay
We needed a place to sleep for 6-7 hours when driving between London and Southern Germany. The hotel is very basic so meet out requirements but I wouldn't want to stay for more than 1 night. Hotel receptionist was friendly.

Deeply Budget stay
Hotel is located in a suburb of a suburb of Reims, which is a nice city but there are almost no places to eat and drink in the local area so you would need to go into Reims but there is little public transport and if you drive into Reims, your vehicle will need a permit, which has to be bought 2 weeks in advance.
Hotel is very good value for money but the breakfast is, er, limited, though cheap. You should be getting the idea by now....

A very old and tired hotel, could use a face lift. It looks like people are living there.
It was late when we arrived 11.30pm and the receptionist couldn't find our booking. He also didn't speak any English which made it hard for us to confirm that we had a reservation. We were helped by another person who was also booking in who spoke English and French.
Avoid! Feels like a prison block, tiny room and toilet/ shower cubicle. Shower holder broken, curtain rail fell off when I opened window, flooring sticky. Only small (hard and worn thin) towels provided. One of the worst places I have stayed, should have read previous reviews!
I have stayed at many French budget hotels, but this really was scraping the bottom of the barrel. The room was dirty and there was no way I was having a shower with a shower head oozing with yellow slime! The hotel is obviously being used to house people (and they weren't Ukrainian refugees), who had their washing hanging out of windows and were congregated outside drinking until well after midnight. As a single woman travelling on my own I did not feel safe. Slept very little and got out as soon as I could in the morning. Wouldn't stay here again if you paid me!
