One night stay with family. Samuele at the front desk was courteous and super helpful. Have a short tour of property including access to terrace from where we watched the meteor shower. He also gave restaurant recommendations and helped book taxi. It was a very nice stay.

A charming, historic property with a beautiful terrace overlooking the city. I loved the aesthetics of the property overall. There was a courtyard with basketball and other balls available, perfect for my kids. The location is walkable to restaurants, and we were provided with a helpful map to navigate the city. The staff were welcoming. Breakfast on site was a lovely amenity (with a cost). While I appreciate the eco-friendly choice to air dry guest towels, it led them to smell strongly like mildew and feel too rough. There was one liquid soap to use in the shower. Without air conditioning, the room was uncomfortable for us in the summer heat though others might be more acclimatized. Overall, the experience was somewhere between a hostel and an inn.

We had a wonderful yet short stay before our Bernina Express train journey. Andrea, our host, was very kind and helpful. He shared stories of his family and the area and gave us suggestions for exploring the town. He knew we had to leave early in the morning for the train and had a wonderful and fresh breakfast ready for us. The hostel is very cute and cozy, with thoughtful touches throughout, including color/coordinated towels and cups for the bathroom, and a beautiful outdoor terrace space. A short trail leads up behind the hostel for quiet and beautiful views of the town and surrounding mountains. Stay here and you will not be disappointed!

Unique and relaxing stay

We had a lovely stay at this unique character-filled small hotel. The hosts Andrea and his son were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great value and included local yoghurts, breads, pastries and delicious local meat and cheese. We also really enjoyed evening sundowners on the little terrace upstairs.
