This hotel was humbling, because after walking all day walking up another 4 flights of stairs will definitely work you. Love how the train station, 7-11, laundry mat was so close by. The staff was friendly. Would recommend for small families!

Really happy with this place. Great for families with a family friendly and safe park across the road. The staff were beautiful and extremely amenable and the facilities were as described. Right near a train station, convenience stores, grocery store and great coffee. Loved it.

Excellent Hotel for good price

Check in and check out from the hotel was incredibly easy. It was located in an excellent spot, super close walk to Shin-Okachimachi station or a bit of a longer walk to Okachimachi. The staff were incredibly polite, and the room was clean and comfortable! We really enjoyed staying here for our honeymoon! Good price for a good stay.

Good location and clean, with refrigerator. There is not a lot of space, so families should not plan to do much in room besides sleeping, using the bathroom, and perhaps TV/games on the beds.

The place is clean and the shower and toilet are separate so that’s convenient since there were 6 of us. The staff is very nice and they store our luggage and put it in our room. We will definitely stay here again. Close to train station, only 5 mins walk to the station.

The staff G-O is kind, polite and accommodating. He help us in keeping our luggage while the room gets ready even though they don’t have a space for it. When we came back he already put all 7 luggage’s in the room using stairs on 5th floor. He went above and beyond. I would recommend this hotel. It is clean and comfortable bed.

This was a really nice option for staying in the area. The neighbourhood is relatively central but quiet, low-rise, with many young kids and families which is an appealing side to the city you might not get from a bigger tourist hotel in other neighbourhoods. Easy to access (no staff on site but automatic check in etc was straightforward). Note you are really just renting a bed and a bathroom, clean and comfortable, but there was very little space in the room for anything else, including eg a chair, a table etc.

Rooms were spacious and really comfortable. Bathroom was nice and well appointed. The location was ok. A short walk to the subway but the lines that serviced it didn’t really go anywhere of interest. To get to the Ginza line which was a great connector, it was around a 17 min walk. Ueno area was also around a 20 min walk and it’s a lovely area. Check in was horrid. Small lobby with no AC. Took us around half hour to check in and there is no elevator so we had to lug our bags up 2 flights of stairs - but they were not long so it wasn’t too bad. Due to location, I’m not sure I’d stay here again, but the room itself was spacious, modern and really comfortable for my family of 4.

Exceeded our expectations, which is important to note, as there is no lift, plenty of stairs to haul your luggage up, no luggage storage or forwarding options and an automated check-in process that relies on receiving a code to check-in a day or two before. Knowing and expecting all this beforehand, you can plan accordingly and it’s no problem at all. The room was clean, functional and very comfortable. Rubbish removed daily and fresh towels provided. It’s a great area that is quiet but very convenient and right near a station and 7 Eleven. Excellent location actually once you get to know the area a bit.

Pros and cons

We liked the room and the location. It is close to the metro and to a few useful shops. The kids loved the park and bunk beds. Self check in was a pain as the code was buried deep in old emails and then resent after we'd arrived. We didn't see anyone on reception in 5 days and the front door is always unlocked. Even though Japan is safe this felt a little odd. We also found that our door wasn't properly latched after a towel chance one day.

Convenient access to train, just 3-5 min walk, but about 12 min walk to JR line if you need to take that line. Save and quiet residential neighborhood. Adjacent park to the hotel is under construction. Amenities included kettle, mugs, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, dryer, disposable slippers, shoe horn. No laundry on site, but the neighborhood has a few within 5-10min away. Staff always on site in the morning if you need anything and very friendly. Room cleaning appeared to be aboit every 3 days but we declined it and just asked for towels or toilet paper when needed during our 7 night stay. There wasn't any tea at the tea station. Sufficient hangers (5) just for our coats to be hung on the wall. No closet. Sufficiently clean and confortable foe our stay. There were no elevators, but not an issue for us as we were a family of 4 on the ground floor. We borrowed umbrellas from stay when needed.

Clean room, great staff - family room with bunk beds was surprisingly roomy for 4 adults. The space is well laid out and even had a table to eat on. Location close to 7-11 and train station and about 15 min walk to busy shopping area. Wish they had an elevator but staff helped us bring large luggage.
