"This was, without question, the worst first impression of any hotel we have experienced in more than 25 years of travelling.
We arrived on a Sunday afternoon to what appeared to be a completely deserted hotel. There wasn’t a single car in the car park or a single guest anywhere. Reception was empty and repeated calls for staff went unanswered.
The car park was swarming with flies. Our car was covered within seconds of arriving, forcing us to run into the hotel.
