โ Marta and Ikar were the most perfect and accommodating hosts for this historic and scenic B&B hotel. As owner/operators they made sure we were comfortable and catered too. Local jams and honey and and extra personal touches made this stay worthwhile. Slightly remote but close enough for a 15 minute drive into Tondela. We would definitely stay here again. โ
โThe hotel was just stunning! Like stepping into a Fitzgerald novel. The staff was so helpful, kind and friendly. Made great recommendations and helped booked reservations. I had an emergency and had to leave early but will definitely go back. Loved the old hotel and the lovely staff!โ
โOne of the most unique and charming places I have ever stayed. It is a living arts museum as much as a guest house.
The main rooms, the bedrooms each have art from the original owner within.
It was a joy to stay in, I wish we had been there for more than one night and would return again.
One note - as I am not sure Expedia made it clear is that there are shared bathrooms and a shared lounge and kitchen.
We didnโt mind that at all - but it is something to be aware of. โ
