โAs it was my first trip to Tonga, I contacted the hotel in advance for the Airport Shuttle Service which was 100 TOP for a round trip. Despite the return trip being at 2am, the driver was punctual.The payment would be in cash and the host informed me that there was an ATM at the airport.
The hotel was a little way out from the downtown, but on the first day, someone was driving back into town and kindly gave me a lift. To return, a restaurant called me a taxi and I paid 10 TOP

โLilly, Ben and the rest of the Toafa Lodge team went out of their way to ensure we had an awesome stay.
We really appreciated all they did for us, including catering for my vegetarian diet, setting up Netflix on the big screen on a rainy night, organising a tour, lending us umbrellas and ponchos, helping us organise transport back, picking us up and dropping us off - even at Crazy Oโclock - and much, much more.
On top of that, the rooms are lovely, comfortable and spacious. And there's an AC...
