A good comfortable stay

Fantastic staff at the desk and all around including the dining room. A very comfortable stay. It was a bit noisy Saturday night, but the disco stopped very early and did not disturb.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful three-night stay at the Home Hotel Folketeateret, and it was exceptional from start to finish. We were lucky enough to book a Premium Room, which was beautifully spacious, clean, and provided a fantastic, relaxing base after exploring the city. The hotel’s central location is perfect for accessing all of Oslo's main attractions, making transport incredibly easy. The Food is a Game-Changer While the comfort of the rooms was great, the food truly sets this hotel apart: Included Evening Meal: The complimentary light evening meal they offer is a brilliant touch. It was delicious, varied, and a wonderful perk that provided great value after a long day of sightseeing. Buffet Breakfast: This was simply out of this world! The quality and scope of the buffet were far beyond standard hotel fare. From traditional Norwegian specialities to a vast array of fresh, high-quality options, we honestly went back again and again. It was easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever experienced.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was under construction at the time but everything was very clean and quiet. The location could not be better being at the harbor - 1 minute walk to Foynhagen, great restaurants, and quick 15-minute walk either to Slottsfjellet or the train station. We will happily return.

OK for an overnight works trip.

It was OK and reasonably comfortable for one overnight stay. The room was very cold, without apparent thermostat adjustment. The bathroom floor was very cold and my room was in an annex, not as in the advertised photo. It was quiet and the breakfast was good. Staff were very professional and extremely polite.

Built on the seaside, the room offers good view. Viking boats are built in front of the hotel; this is interesting . You need specifically ask to change towels or room cleaning. Wifi connection is weak in my room.

the first night sleeping was impossible because in the restaurant next to the hotel a band was playing right outside the window until 01:00 at night. These are certainly known in advance and it would be good to be informed about it in advance as well. the hotel's rooftop swimming pool was out of use due to renovations, which was one of the reasons why the hotel was chosen. In addition to this, renovations were done in the hotel a little here and there, and it was also visible everywhere. the location is on the beach and close to the center and the breakfast was very good. In addition to this, the reception staff was friendly and nice. that's pluses.

On the beautiful boardwalk of Tönsberg. Fantastic! Visit the Slottsfjellet overlooking the town. Viking ships along the shoreside of this inner arm of the Oslofjord.

Really disappointed with the hotel. There was a lot of building work. The reception floor was being laid the bar was completely shut and not available. There was also a new outside area being built right outside my window which was noisy. I was not made aware of any of this when booking. The hotel was very expensive for the quality being offered.
