Mudbanks opposite Topsham Taken from on board the MV My Queen on an RSPB organised cruise. These are permanent moorings on West Mud opposite Topsham that will be used from the spring through summer to the autumn. The rich mud is why the Exe is important for birds. The gulls here are Black headed gulls (Larus ridibundus), and on the waters' edge to the right can be seen a Redshank (Tringa totanus).

Lovely location, TLC needed
Ive stopped here many times over the years, its quirky and a nice location, but it lets itself down badly . No redecorating has been done since opening.
