"Was so bad I opted to abandon the stay. Heavy artificial fragrance in foyer and rooms. I tried two. They had also just painted the foyers, the paint smell was so overwhelming I was nauseous. Tried window open and aircon to mask it. No way I could sleep there. Rooms were very tired and dated, felt dirty. "

"The check-in procedure was excellent, with the key being held in a secure 'hole in the wall' that was released when a credit card was swiped for the $100 refundable deposit. The lady I spoke to about my booking was very polite, accommodating in her phone manner and was very helpful. I initially stayed 2 nights, but after I checked out I decided to stay one more night. I rang reception and was told the room I had the previous 2 nights would be held for me. I was disappointed that the only 'servicing' of the room was that fresh towels were provided; the bins were still full, a used coffee cup was still on a bench and no cleaning had been done. My main negative observation was how dated the room was. The carpet was worn and the bathroom was badly in need of updating. On the positive side, the room was quiet and peaceful, the shower was excellent, with heaps of water pressure and it was easy to stream YouTube to the TV. The tariff was very reasonable and the quality of the room was inline with my expectations for the cost. "

"Everything about our stay at Buttercuphill B&B was tops! Kim was the perfect host from her communication before our arrival to our welcome on arrival, her hospitality during our stay and our farewell. She really knows how to make people feel at home and her breakfasts and cookies were amazing. The property really is charming and located within easy walking distance into town. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others."

"Parking was easy. Collection of key was quick and easy due to prepayment. Room was adequate for my brief stay - clean and the shampoo etc. were fine. Towels soft, bed was very comfortable and being a single traveller I felt safe in my room. "

"Everything in the room was clean and satisfactory, the manager black curly hair female was lovely and very helpful. We had booked out 4 rooms in total for a wedding in Drouin that weekend and I enjoyed my stay very much, thanks again Justin Virgona. "
