Lovely staff Great central area Budget friendly Oliver is an amazing employee who went above and beyond to provide recommendations across the city to out of towners. Only downside was the water pressure wasn’t the best and a bad light in the bathroom but with everything else it was very easy to overlook.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Rex Hotel. Our room was private, quiet and cool. A nice little nest to return to after a busy day in the bustling city. We were able to get around old Toronto very easily with the Rex as our base. The jazz in the bar was great! We were still able to sleep without hearing the hustle and bustle from the main floor.

Love the Rex Hotel, the Room was clean comfortable and nicely cooled with the air runni ng and keeping us comfortable. The lunch we had was delicious and accompanied with a beautiful jazz set.
