“Nice modern, quirky hotel in great location for City Centre, Hoe and Barbican. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bar area, that is also for check-in, has some really good seating areas for work or chilling. Room was great - very clean, comfy bed and good shower. On-site parking was easy, although it is £10 a day. It was a perfect stay for our needs.”

“Agree entirely with a previous review. Not an hotel, just a B&B with bar and a very limited menu. The proprietess wanted to talk at us. The son, considerably older than 21, came up to us in the bar and said his mother would be with us soon to serve us drinks. Clearly he was not authorized to. Why? So we waited another 5 --10 mins for her to appear. No hot water in room - neither shower nor wash basin. Reactions were "we know one of the hot water timers is faulty, but it's nearly time for annual...
