"Der Boden des Zimmers war nicht gekehrt, geschweige denn gesaugt worden.An einem Zahnputzbecher befand sich noch ein Mundabdruck. Frühstück war nicht im selben Haus sondern ein paar hundert Meter weiter in einem anderen Hotel. Scheinbar hat der Besitzer gewechselt, habe vor ein paar Jahren das gleiche Zimmer schon mal gehabt, da war die Sauberkeit deutlich besser und Frühstück im Haus."

"This was our fourth stay at this hotel. It has changed hands over last several years but has changed very little in its nice and quaint historic appearance. Breakfast was good. A lack of air conditioning during the visit caused some discomfort, but higher temperatures were unexpected. "The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was lovely--clean and beautiful. I absolutely would stay there again. My only hesitation to give five stars was that our room was up stairs not completely accessed by the elevator, which was difficult for us on account of our heavy bags. (We're not spring chickens!) Also, because the air conditioning was not working well, they added a portable air conditioner (which we did appreciate) which required that a window be left open for the exhaust hose. It took several hours to cool down the room each time we entered for the evening. Other than those issues, our stay was perfect."
