“Escala is a great hotel. Small, with excellent service by owners Adrian and Claudia. What I especially liked is that they provided me with customized suggestions for what I might like to see in town, something that Google Maps or Claude would not have been able to do. I hope to return to Cluj and if so will certainly stay at Escala again.”

“Altho no staff on duty we were sent a code to enter bldg & our room for 1 extra nite in Cluj once our room was ready early afternoon. Luckily we'd been staying just down the block and we were able to leave our luggage there until then as no staff on duty but we're able to talk to a helpful woman on the
phone. Tried to make coffee w machine in room but cold water came out- had time to grab a brkfst in little dining room before leaving for our flight . Room compact but comfy and very nice...
