“This is one of the hidden gems of the Douro Valley and highlights of my trip. Perfect for relaxation. The property was immaculately maintained, self catering kitchen was well stocked. Views to die for! Both Romantic and great for families or solo travellers looking to unwind.”

“The place was really quiet and the view was stunning. The breakfast was really good as well with most food being locally sourced. The Panoramic Villa was nice, there was a bit of a misunderstanding at first when the host showed us the Villa but was resolved afterwards. Also the shower seemed to be stucked to really hot temperature but adding a little force to the other side of the fosset did fix it to more reasonable temperatures.”

“Interesting old manor. Guests can wander through the gardens and beautiful old manor rooms. There is a nice swimming pool area in the gardens. The estate produces an excellent white wine. You can preorder diner on most days but there are only 8 guest rooms so there may not be many takers. A car is needed as the estate is out of town. The staff were helpful and friendly. “Our stay at Casa do Rio was exceptional. There are 10 rooms with stunning views of the Douro River and vineyards. Our room was spotless and tastefully decorated, and we were welcomed with a plate of fresh figs and white port and all ingredients to make portonics. The grounds are lovely with an infinity pool overlooking the river and two semi private fresh water dunking pools. The food and was outstanding! “외이너리 속에 있는 이 호텔은 브라가에서도 살짝 거리가 있어 렌트여행 아니면 가기 힘들어요. 여기가 맞나 싶을 정도로 시골 안쪽으로 들어갑니다. 하지만 프라이빗한 시설로 어디보다 안전하고 편안하게 보낼 수 있습니다. 침대도 푹신하고 조식은 일반 유럽식이지만 포르투갈 전통 음식도 많이 맛볼 수 있는 다른 호텔에서 얻지 못 할 감동을 줍니다. 수영장도 있구요. 이곳에서 생산한 화이트 와인 1병을 웰컴드링크로 저녁에 주셨는데 완전 맛있어 2병 사가지고 왔습니다. 건물을 2022년 신축해 23년부터 호텔을 운영하고 있다고 했습니다. 체크아웃 할때 조식 음식을 여행때 먹을 음식을 싸가라고 친절을 베풀어 주기도 하였구요. 전체적으로 잊지 못 할 호텔이였습니다.”
