“This is an old motel (1956) and its age is showing. The hotel appears to be family owned. They worked hard to make our stay comfortable, including homemade mini donuts. Our room appeared clean and the property sufficiently maintained. .The linens were clean and the towels were new, thick and fluffy. “Room was in deplorable condition and needed to be remodeled. Bathroom door would not slide closed. Toilet seat was broken, took 3 1/2 mins to get hot water. Tub is too high to step into. No place to hang clothes. Had a piece of toilet paper poked into a hole in the outdated paneling. Indoor/outdoor carpet was frayed on edges. Bed creaked every time we moved. Paint was peeling off on the outside. Ice machine worked. Wouldn't stay here again if it were free!”
