I arrived and waited 10 mins to be helped by anyone. When the staff showed up she helps others that were there before us. Staff told me that there was not a room available After I had booked on Expedia. Expedia had said that there was an after I had booked on Expedia. Expedia had said that there was a room available obviously otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to book it. Staff said they had called me to tell me as such. No message was left, and I do not answer phone calls from unknown numbers. Especially when the number comes from out of state. additionally, the staff had texted me before from a different number, and that was another line of communication that could have and should have occurred, but didn’t. I was left with no room and no communication regarding the fact that now I would have to find somewhere else to stay. Very inconsiderate of time and lack of communication. Additionally, when the Staff explained the situation to me, they were condescending and rude. Overall, just a very horrible experience and I will not be recommending La Quinta to anyone. The staff’s attitude toward me regarding the situation made me feel unsafe, and I don’t appreciate that. Furthermore, when I left the building, the staff member called me to tell me there a room available. I told her I did not feel safe since my son and I would be staying there alone. I hope she is able to get additional training in being professional and courteous towards guest.
