The Onsen main bath was closed due to maintenance so men and women had to take turns using the other bath. Asking about nearby restaurants for dinner because hotel's dinner was only available with reservations, front desk clerk clearly told us there were only izakayas, bars, available nearby. "Great place to stay, if you don’t mind it being a bit worn down which is the beauty of staying in a traditional ryokan with onsen. Night staff speaks fluent English, quite the opposite for the Day staff however. Has a fireplace in the lobby with free mashmallow offered. There is a ping pong table, and a pool table free for guests. Though I found their placement being right at the entry area of the Ryokan a bit awkward."

"Incredible find!!!!! I loved the floor plan of my room so much, I honestly feel so spoiled with the layout! I stayed with my friend and we both got our own bed with a desk in the middle, giving us our own space. Such a wonderful hotel in a convenient location.
