"the rooms really are excellent . location is ok if you have a car, Things to know is, there is no spa, there is no sauna, there is no massage at the property. The breakfast is poor at best and if you like a coffee that is not drip be prepared to wait an hr for a not great coffee. but again the rooms are great. "

"Serena is expensive but it’s a great spot to “land” when you come to Kampala. The grounds are fantastic, the pool is excellent, and the service is great. Centrally located, high security - a great place to stay when you’re in Kampala. "

"Very efficient and warm welcome and very attentive staff. The room and breakfast were excellent. Sadly, the restaurant service on three evenings was terrible. I hosted a graduation dinner on 26th Feb. and my guests had to wait 2 hours (YES, 2 hours) for the starters to arrive. Then the main courses arrived one by one, not all together, and ladies were served last. How is this from a hotel claiming to be at the forefront of hospitality and even running a hospitality school."

"Staff were great and highy professional plus good meal. My stay was however not enjoyable due to poor internet connection.terrible internet service. The hotel should get this sorted. Travelers shouldn't have to worry about internet when lodged in a hotel costing nearly $120 "
