Upper Town, La Cité-Limoilou hotel rooms at the Fairmont

Isaac was very warm and welcoming when we checked in. He gave us recommendations for food and it was spot on. I would not have had the same experience if not for Isaac. He always greeted us when we came in and out of the hotel and felt like he was glad to see us. Sorry we were not able to say good bye on our departure. Well wishes Isaac. Tara

Super clean and well equipped.

We were thrilled to find it in central location. Our Riverview room had a humongous, clean window with breathtaking views that changed throughout the days/nights. We were pampered with comfortable bedding. The convenience food in the lobby area had a good selection & coffee was excellent. Thank goodness, since the coffee machine in room was wierd & impossible for us & others to use. We booked the basement queen bed room for a last minute getaway to Québec City and the whole experience was amazing from start to finish! Eliane, José, and both Phillipes were the most amazing and welcoming hosts, and run an amazing hotel. Great location, friendly staff.

We arrived late but all was prepared for us ahead. The bed comfy and the room well appointed. Breakfast delicious. Jo, the owner, took great care of our group of eight. After three nights we were still congratulating ourselves for finding such a perfect spot in the old city.

It was a very unique little hotel in the old part of Quebec and attached to it was a wonderful restaurant that had a delicious breakfast I would highly recommend it. You have to climb up a staircase to get to it so if you’re able to do that, it’s a wonderful place. We loved it.

I wasn't sure about staying in a hostel, but I gave it a try it and didn't regret it. I normally stay in hotels/Airbnbs when I travel. Anyways, I felt safe, it was clean, I got a room w/only females. I only needed a place to sleep and shower. They provided bed sheets they offered a towel/blanket. You can purchase any essentials, such aa toothbrush/shampoo, lock for the locker, etc. The girls I shared the room were respectful that I didn't mind sharing a room w/3 other girls. I don't know prices in the area but it seemed like a very very good deal. Nice place, wonderfully located near very good restaurants, large parks, the riverfront, and a scenic 20 mimute walk to the old city. Lack of on-site staff was balanced by quick and helpful responses if you telephoned the remote concierge. Slightly dirty under the beds (not a big deal) but otherwise very clean and a nice vibe.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay, this hotel was very well located within walking distance of a lot of restaurants with lots of cuisine options and the beautiful Plains of Abraham park just up the street. We did not move our car but walked to downtown everyday for sightseeing and activities. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great stay, only complaint is parking was very tight and was asked to move my car during breakfast for another guest that was leaving and couldn't get by my car. Other than that breakfast was good, place was quite, wifi was good, and shower water pressure was great. We will stay again
