"I loved this place! It was located in a very quiet part of greater Tokyo and it was really nice and easy to walk around the neighborhood. I especially liked how close to it was to different restaurants and Oji Station. Please take advantage of the late nights walks you can go on and enjoy each detail because it is what makes this place so special. Will for sure book again if I go back to Japan anytime soon. "Overall the listing was not what we had expected. The address was not accurate and led us to a completely different block. We only received 1 towel for 2 nights for each person, we requested more but did not get an answer from the host. The area was good though, located close to the station and convenience stores. The washroom was really tight and there was leakage in the pipes. Cleanliness was not the best. Our neighbours were great though!"

"This place was advertised as sleeping 7, but it barely can hold 4. When told about the accommodation was told we are Japanese and this is how it works for us. "The place is big and priced well for it's size. It's also within reasonable walking distance from ikebukuru station. But, it was not clean when we arrived and the cleaners arrived only at 8PM. The shower smells strongly of mold and if you leave the shower door open, you can smell it in the entire house. One of the beds is broken and the sofa chair is also broken (bent out of shape leg). "We stayed here from June 24- Jul 7. The staff was great. They were all very friendly and helpful. I utilized the bell captain desk to make the limousine bus reservation and the concierge to make reservations for restaurants around Tokyo and they were both excellent. The only encounter I felt a little off putting was from the male receptionist who checked me in. He was not rude, maybe he was tired? Our room was as expected. Housekeeping did a great job. No complaints there. We got fresh towels and our amenities were stocked daily. The water pressure in the shower was very good. The coin laundry service was also great. The laundry room was well kept and very clean. It was very convenient to have that service connected to our TV in our room so we can watch in real time which machines were available and how much time was left on them. So convenient. We also utilized the restaurant on the main floor for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Although the service was great, we only ate breakfast twice there (thank goodness we didn't pay for the entirety of our stay) since it was the same foods daily. It was a buffet set up but two days in a row of the same choices was enough for us. We instead ate at several coffee shops near the hotel. We chose a la carte for dinner and was not disappointed. They had a wonderful steak set. The hotel is conveniently located across from the Ikebukuro station which houses Lumine and Tobu department stores. It is a safe location"
