"Ski slopes are easy to reach via the bus that stops near by. The accommodation is spread over a number of blocks with one being a fair distance from the main reception. Not necessarily an issue in summer but dragging cases over icy snow in winter can be a challenge!!"

"Enjoyed many amenities such as, swimming pool in which you can actually swim, I believe it’s between 15-20 meters long. Hot tub was not very big and wasn’t hot but wasn’t an inconvenience as both the Steam room & Sauna were great. Breakfast was good but not excellent many of the food items were not hot. "

"Staff more concerned with own cellphones than customers. Food and drinks/cocktails usually good at Vestlia, however this time the food was well below average and the cocktails, 4 out of 4, were terrible. Room missing basics like a way to make coffee and bathrobes which you expect at a «resort». "

"We were looking forward to our visit, but were left somewhat disappointed. The hotel is very tired and in need of renovating. The room didn’t have the facilities advertised with no coffee tea making facilities or kettle. (With an expectation you buy a coffee for 55NOK!) Decoration was very worn and poorly done. Door handles for the terrace coming away from door. Bathroom was actually a very very small wet room. So everything in the room got wet when you showered. Beds were old and had gone soft so not that comfortable. No bedding provided for the sofa bed. The staff were doing their best. They were always polite and responsive. The food in the restaurant was good but didn’t match the menu? Breakfast was good but choice was a little limited. Only one Tesla charger available so unable to charge my car as another person in a Tesla was plugged in for entirety of our stay. Overall a disappointing visit not what we were expecting for a junior suite! The photos used on the website are misleading and do the best job I have seen in making the place look modern and fresh. It isn’t. Not the standard you expect of BW and of a 4 star hotel. (At best 2 stars)"

"This is a great place to stay for walks in the surrounding hills, with some great views. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent and I think I ate too much as it was so food. The lounge area is quiet and very homely, nice to sit with a cup of coffee & read. The lady manager was very kind and helpful & allowed me to practice my bad Norwegian on her 😉"
