Eyjólfsstaðir Guesthouse Egilsstaðir
Had to carry heavy suitcases up and down two flights of stairs. Shared bathrooms weren’t as much of a nuisance as expected. Very clean guesthouse and surprisingly quiet. The best Aurora show of our trip was here. Great breakfast!

Stóra Sandfell Rooms and Cottages
Loved the property. Cozy little place. Appreciated the kitchenette and the small touches like tea and coffee.

Kaldá Lyngholt Holiday Homes
This was our favourite stay while in Iceland. The cabins were well stocked and quiet, the right distance from town to feel removed. We were able to cook basic meals and we loved having access to a hot tub and sauna. Wouldn’t change a thing. It was lovely!
