When I booked, the location given in Maioli was behind a gas station in centre of town. 24 hours prior to arrival, I verified the address on Google map and it was outside the city, in the hills. Since I am cycling, I wasn't going to launch myself into the Taiwanese hills, after a day of cycling."

"明德水庫旁原先的教師會館，重新裝潢。優點：面湖位置絕佳、房間大且有木質地板、被子輕軟又保暖，很舒服。缺點：1.淋浴的熱水要留很久才會熱，盆浴的則是再久也只到溫溫的，等放完水也冷掉了，無法泡澡；2.入住當晚住房率很低，館方也不願意讓我們稍提前入住。非屬館方：明德水庫環湖公路目前施工無法完整通行，沒有公告，館方也不知。我們走到一半只好掉頭(雖然景色也不怎麼樣)。雖然會館看出區的湖景很好，但明德水庫留宿觀光做不起來，因果相扣形成循環，蠻可惜的。倒過來說，附近留宿觀光不發達所以晚上蠻安靜的，適合喜歡安靜放空的人。"

"兩大三小(13、11、3)，初一晚間七點多抵達。老闆娘這樣應對:「我們早餐是7:30到9點，不會等喔。早餐是7:30到9點，不會等你們喔。這是鑰匙。」帶路半途，換外傭帶我們進房。外傭:「房間在那裡，鑰匙給你，自己進去，門是鎖的。」結果，門沒鎖、吸頂燈三顆壞兩顆、垃圾桶有一個綠色麥香綠茶空鋁箔包，Wifi堪比撥接。如果期待一個周遭環境清幽、腹地廣大可以走走看看，這裡是個不錯的世外之地。如果不想有超出預算的房價，見面連句你好，新年快樂沒說，住在感覺日常沒有維護修繕的房內，這裡不是首選或備案。房間是大的、室外環境好的，人是冷漠的、服務是沒有的、硬體是糟的、價格是不值的。"
