"Great and beautiful place to go"

"We stayed as family with 2 teenage boys in the Grand Residence for 5 nights which was spectacular, with views across the bay and rainforest. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the cart ride down to the beach was fun. We had a great time, however were disappointed with the food - one night the fish was inedible. We were also let down by the constant power outages and delay in firing up the back up generator - we were left in the dark with no running water for hours on our first night....

"My wife and I ventured to Sau Bay around the 20th of June, shortly after it opened. At a high level, we give the place 6 out of 5 stars! At the top of our experience was the incredible staff that greeted us and took care of us throughout our 5-day stay. We had previously spent a couple of weeks at some other resorts in the Mamanuca islands, and while those were also great, Sau Bay stood head and shoulders above them in terms of service, privacy, and overall experience. "The Edgewater Villa was beautiful, loved seeing the stars at night over the water! The bar/cafe along the water was delightful with little kitties running around - and good food and drinks! The dinner we signed up for was very delicious. The spa was incredible! My most favorite- I loved listening to the waterfall! Only two things I would say need improvement - 1) continental breakfast options, it was sufficient but not spectacular. The a la carte menu was just ok. 2) in the villa, the A/C unit...

"Nothing to like. Avoid it at any cost. Rooms smell bad, dirty. Staff not helpful. No connection from rooms, only at reception. Pool is not being maintained. Water was off on the check in day and power was off on check out. Horrible place .. don't waste your money. "
