What a wonderful view of the water. The ferries were right out our hotel door. The hotel was very old but well kept. There were a lot of stairs to get up to our room. I definitely would suggest a balcony.

Perfekt läge i Waxholm

Äntligen har Waxholm Hotell fått en uppfräschning med nya ägare. Bokade ett mysigt rum med balkong, rummen är små, men sängarna sköna. Superbra mat i restauranger. Enda minuset är att frukosten var lite trist och det fylldes på i alldeles för långsam takt

Hotellet är trevligt. Rummet hade en fin balkong. Dock var rummet väldigt litet och dubbelsängen var aningen hård. Badrummet var i minsta laget. Nästan svårt att gå in i duschkabinen. Overall lite för spartanskt.

This is a very unique little hotel sitting directly on the main Vaxholm ferry terminal. The building itself is historic (so, naturally, old) and no-frills, but it was clean, well-kept, and charming, and the staff were very friendly and responsive. I enjoyed sitting on my patio and looking out at the boats. The breakfast buffet had everything one could want. It felt very safe, as well.

Waxholms Hotell är ett gammal gediget hotell och nu har de gjort fina förändringar i baren. Maten var utmärkt och trevlig personal. Rummen är fortfarande trånga med gammal inredning men med skön säng och fin utsikt. Jag hoppas på en uppfräschning även av rummen till nästa gång.

Great hotel for its location but appears to have seen better days. Tv didn’t work and bed sheets had stains pointed these out on arrival but neither were fully addressed. Reception staff v pleasant. Room was only cleaned once during 5 night stay. Not great value for money but location for ferry and activities excellent.
