The place is very well located close to Rialto bridge. The check in was very quick and easy. The room is a bit small but it worked well for us. Bed was comfortable , bathroom very clean. There is a big flight of stairs to get to the second floor reception, but we were able to get the luggage upstairs. It is a great place and we will definitely recommend it.
The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable, though slightly cramped by its architecture. The finishes were luxurious. Concierge staff was not regularly on site, though communicated frequently and responded quickly via WhatsApp. We were unaware that there was no elevator, so moving our suitcases up the 3 1/2 flights of stairs was an unexpected challenge at the end of a long travelling day. Perhaps some warning tape on the 2nd to last step descending due to the low clearance would be helpful. We would consider returning, but would not choose the 3rd floor room with terrace due to the stairs issue.
Great location, the room was comfortable and clean with a nice number of amenities.
The staff were super helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended.
So, nice location near the Rialto but no reception, restaurant , bar.. room extremely small even by European standards, shower was 2x2 feet could not move, no real windows and no emergency exit… felt trap and claustrophobic, still love Venice…
Hotel is in a great location once you find it. Room was very clean, quiet and beds were very comfortable. Air conditioning worked great which was wonderful as it was extremely hot outside. A few cons include:
-No elevator and the steps are marble and steep. Not suitable for someone with limited accessibility.
-When I arrived I expected some one to be available at the reception desk as advertised. The entire three days that I was there, there was no one manning the reception desk so you are pretty much on your own.
-I didn’t realized that when you leave the room in order to lock the room door you have to put the code in again. I found this out on my second day when I was leaving and throws the door to make sure it was locked. To my surprise it wasn’t. I called the hotel phone number and after over 20 rings no one answered. Finally on my second attempt they answered. There was a communication gap as the receptionist did not speak much English. Finally it was communicated that the code had to be punched in both on entry and exit. They said the info was in the welcome email but it was not.
Overall I felt very safe and satisfied with my stay other that these few hiccups.
I would stay there again.
Great location and room. Room was beautifully decorated with nice glass chandelier and sconces. Staff was pleasant and helpful in recommending activities and restaurants.
Room was very clean & bright
Bathroom also.
Terrace had a problem when we arrived due to overnight storms, so we couldn't check in at 2pm we had to wait until 3pm.
There is rather a larger TV above the safe & mini bar (which was free) water & Prosecco. Tea & coffee provided which is behind the TV so hard to reach. Small hanging area but nowhere to put underwear or T shirts or small pieces from suitcase. Does need a small set of drawers. Also bathroom has no shelf as such to put toiletries, make up, hair accessories etc..
The room we had was top of the building, with no lift and 60+ stairs to climb, way too many for us both really, a stop halfway was needed, good job was only for 2 nights. In our 70's.
Communication from the hotel via WhatsApp was excellent, very informative & helpful, answered any Q's we had.
A lovely hotel, very clean, but the Stairs & lack of space to unpack items is why i only rate this as good.
This was a lovely property, well updated and fantastic location. Dark and quiet rooms great for getting some sleep. The complimentary water and champagne was a lovely surprise. Would happily stay here again.
Todo bien, pero las escaleras muy incómodas para subir maletas grandes y sobretodo cuando eres de la 3era edad, se debería advertir esa situación, se lo recomiendo muy bonito y limpio
