The staff were very friendly and helpful upon arrival, offering information about the area and advice for getting around. The cleaning/service staff were also very friendly and cheerful. The room was nice and large, nice big bed and all the useful amenities such as a mini fridge, hairdryer, soaps and shower gels etc. It also had extra pillows and a thick blanket in case the nights got chilly. The aircon was perfect and not too loud and night. We were on the top floor and there's no lift so bit of a hike after a long day of exploring but I appreciate it's not always possible to fit a lift into a smaller building so can't fault that. The only negative I can think of is the water pressure for the shower was quite low, you couldn't use it while the toilet cistern was refilling as it would only dispense very hot water during that time. Everything else was great. It's in a quiet and peaceful area but it's very easy to catch a bus to the town centre and from there the rest of Venice is just a vaporetto away. Ideal for travellers who want to explore all over but get good value for money and a nice relaxed place to stay. Finally, the breakfast was really nice. Varied each day with different nibbles and flavours of pastry, fritatta etc. Definitely advise going for that if you stay here as you're not going to get good food like this anywhere near that cheap on the island.

Very convenient to walk to the festival but that’s about it, not worth the price, there was no closet in the room that made it very hard n dry tiny bedroom, would rather commute from Venice next time, would not recommend for this high price.

Wir haben für zwei Tage gebucht und grundsätzlich hat alles funktioniert, auch der späte Check-in sowie die vorherige Absprache. Wir hatten ein Doppelbett im Schlafzimmer und in der oberen Etage zwei Einzelbetten für die beiden Kinder. Vom Platz her ist es in Ordnung, kleiner sollte es allerdings nicht sein. Das Doppelbett ist angenehm und nicht zu weich, sodass man gut schlafen kann. Leider kann ich über die Dusche nichts Positives sagen. Sie ist gefühlt nur etwa 60 × 60 cm groß und für jemanden, der etwas größer und kräftiger gebaut ist – so wie ich mit 2 m und 130 kg – leider kaum nutzbar. Das gleiche gilt für die Toilette. Diese ist so nah an der Wand platziert, dass man beim Sitzen praktisch seitlich sitzen muss. Die Sauberkeit insgesamt war jedoch in Ordnung. Zum Thema Frühstück: Erwartet hier bitte kein großes, ausgewogenes Frühstück mit viel Auswahl. Es wurde hauptsächlich Wert auf süße Backwaren gelegt, die schnell im Ofen aufgebacken werden können und wenig Aufwand machen. Wer gerne Aufschnitt oder ein etwas abwechslungsreicheres Frühstück hat, ist hier eher fehl am Platz. Am ersten Tag unseres Aufenthalts mussten wir leider feststellen, dass bereits um 9:00 Uhr morgens viele Teller leer waren ( Frühstück bis 10:00 Uhr) Auf Nachfrage nach Nachschub wirkte die Bedienung eher demotiviert und leicht genervt. Auch beim Kaffee sollte man keine großen Erwartungen haben: Pro Tag gibt es für Gäste nur einen kostenlosen Kaffee :(

Chef Mimi was fab-o. The room had a heated towel rack in tbe bathroom, which was priceless in the Venetian humidity. We needed no alarm clock because of the rooster next door, who did not crow until an agreeable hour. The lady behind the front desk was genuinely friendly and the neighborhood was charming. The bed sloped downwards toward the headboard and that was about our only trouble. I'definitely stay tjere again. The breakfasts were fabulous.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Villa Stella! The staff were super friendly, the lady at breakfast was really chatty and attentive and the lady on the reception desk was super helpful with public transport questions. She also showed us around the garden and explained what the plants were etc which was a lovely touch. Navigating to the hotel was simple on the alilaguna from the airport and the vaporetto’s from Venice and catching buses from the port to the hotel was easy. The room was a great size, plenty of storage space, and the bathroom was lovely. The bed was super comfortable we slept great everynight. The breakfast was lovely, a great selection for a continental, lots of pastries, fruits, yoghurt and breads and eggs. The lady around at breakfast time was really friendly and made great coffees.

Persoonallinen hotelli, siisti ja hyväkuntoinen. Sijainti Lidon saarella rauhallisella alueella, tarvittaessa myös bussilla pääsee hotellin lähelle. Liikkuminen vesibussilla keskustan ja saarten välillä helppoa. Hotellilta sai myös hyvät ohjeet miten rautatieasemalta pääsee helposti perille. Erityisruokavalio huomioitiin aamupalalla hyvin ( toki kerrottu etukäteen asiasta).
