I was there only one night, and I was mostly focused on exploring Venice. The staff was friendly, the room was clean; it was located not far from Piazza San Marco.

Truly Venetian

Staying at the Residenza gave us a complete Venetian experience. Our room had a murano chandelier, venetian furnitures, and red/gold colors. The room was well kept during our stay, breakfast was adequate especially with the cappuccino/ latte machine, and the location was close to the main attractions of Venice.

First time travelling to Venice so happy with the location, harder getting my head around the canals and laneways. Google maps got it wrong a couple of times.

My experience at this hotel was extremely poor. The staff never came to meet me at reception I was calling and messaging them waiting for over TWO HOURS. Finally they answered me and told me to take a key. When I got to the room it all seems fine until I went into the bathroom and the absolute disgust I was met with was nauseating. I almost got sick because of the smell in there. It smelt like a mix of sulfur and rotten eggs and it wouldn’t go away even if i tried to air it out and let the window open. The reason I booked this hotel was so that I could feel clean for a night and just take a shower before I was leaving the next day. I ended up staying at a hostel and cut my stay short from there expecting to feel clean in this hotel for just a night. If i had stayed longer than a night I definitely would’ve messaged someone or met with reception to change rooms because of the odor.

L’accueil à l’hôtel s’est réalisé sans difficulté. Il est très facile de trouver l’entrée grâce a un GPS… L’hôtesse nous a indiqué à notre arrivée devoir régler une taxe de séjour de 21 € qui n’était pas précisé dans la réservation de l’hôtel, mais nous avons eu tout le temps de notre séjour pour pouvoir le régler : ceci s’effectue uniquement en liquide et non en carte bleue. Vous disposez d’un jeu de clés pour accéder quand vous le voulez à l’établissement qui est bien sécurisé, les chambres sont typiques et faut perdurer le côté romantique de Venise… La literie est confortable. Néanmoins, la chambre possède deux lits simples, ce qui nous a surpris en arrivant. Néanmoins, les nuits ont été réparatrice. Rien de spécial à signaler, ils fournissent un gel douche, tout était propre et réaliste. Quant à l’annonce sur laquelle nous avons réservé cet hébergement. Je vous conseille ce lieu pour profiter de certains lieux, emblématiques vraiment proximité à quelques minutes à pied… Aussi, l’établissement permet de rejoindre les vaporretto très rapidement. Nous sommes très satisfaits de ces trois nuitées aussi. Sachez qu’il y a du chauffage ce qui permet de braver sans difficulté, les températures extérieures que nous connaissons au mois de janvier…
