“Not the first time I have stayed here but as always an excellent stay Great staff that are always there to help Breakfast is brilliant, great choice, great service. Keep up the great work”

“We requested a ground floor room , however it was a huge mistake , tv was not working the whole weekend, bathroom is absolutely filthy , shower has mould , I've never had to shower in a 4 star with shoes !!! Always a first, filthy under the bed , I would just give the Hotel a total miss , they offered to move us to another room but 1 person was elderly and stairs was not an option. There were other places more affordable , I wish I booked there.”

“Gorgeous surroundings, amazing staff, comfortable cabins with all the amenities!! I literally could not have asked for a better stay! We will absolutely be back!”

“The room was clean, staff was excellent and the beds were comfortable. The only problem I had is that I did not receive the breakfast that was mentioned in the amenities ”

“Love the place. Situated in a safe area. Would go there again”

“The management and staff at Gemstone were exceptional. Customer service at the highest level. They made our stay very comfortable and tended to all of our needs. The property is very quiet and peaceful and I would definitely stay at this location in the future. ”

“The property was beautiful, but the staff made our stay perfect. The manager was particularly wonderful and did his job to perfection. Rooms were clean. Food was absolutely fabulous!!! 10 out of 10!!”

“Nice friendly helpful staff. Copious amount of excellent food. Definately not five star rating. 3 stars at best. Needs some serious maintenance and very dated.”

“They were very freindly and accomodating! More than happy to tell others about this great accomodation and location. ”

“Great room with amazing views. Immediate responses from staff. Food offering at Twist let them down for 2 dinner services. Breakfast was sound though. Management did apologise and confirmed plans for the food service going forward. Spa is beautiful as well. Great place. Would definitely be back”

“Kobie, the host, was extremely pleasant and helpful from the moment we arrived. The room was neat and clean and the beds extremely comfortable. We loved the sound of the river flowing passed. We had to ask for mugs to make coffee in the mornings, and Kobie was happy to supply them. There was a microwave oven in our room, but one needed to supply your own dish liquid, washing up cloth and kitchen towel in order to wash dishes. This is not a train smash, but it makes your stay easier if you come...
